Terms of Service

Congratulations for choosing to learn Argentine tango with Sebastian Arce and Mariana Montes and welcome to Tangomeet!
These terms of service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of Tangomeet ("we" or "our") website and services (the "Services" or the "Service"), so please carefully read them before using the Services.
By using the Services you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you are agreeing to these Terms for that organization and promising that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms. In that case, "you" and "your" will refer to that organization.
You may use the Services only in compliance with these Terms. The Services may continue to change over time as we refine and add more features. We may stop, suspend, or modify the Services at any time without prior notice to you. We may also remove any content from our Services at our discretion.


Account Terms

  1. You must be 14 years or older to use this Service.

  2. You must be a human. Accounts registered by "bots" or other automated methods are not permitted.

  3. You must provide your legal full name, a valid email address, and any other information requested in order to complete the signup process.

  4. Your login may only be used by one person - a single login shared by multiple people is not permitted.

  5. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password and you agree not to disclose your password to any third party. Tangomeet cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.

  6. You are responsible for any activity using your account, whether or not you authorized that activity.

  7. You may not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You must not, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).


Payment, Refunds, Upgrading and Downgrading Terms

  1. A valid credit card is required for paying accounts. Free accounts are not required to provide a credit card number.

  2. If you sign up for a Once a week or Twice a week account, you will be billed every 28 days. 28 days equal on Tangomeet to one payment period or month, period during which you will receive all the content designated for the subscription plan you have chosen.

  3. For your ease, you'll pay the subscription fees designated for the plan you have chosen automatically, on a monthly basis, as long as your account is open. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel any time.

  4. Your upgrade will be effective starting with day one of the next payment period. Only then we will charge your card and you'll be able to see the content designated for your new subscription plan.

  5. An upgrade from the Free membership plan to any paying plan will end your free account. You will be billed for your first payment period/month immediately upon upgrading.

  6. The Service is billed in advance on a payment period basis and is non-refundable. There will be no refunds or credits for partial months of service, upgrade/downgrade refunds, or refunds for months unused with an open account. In order to treat everyone equally, no exceptions will be made.

  7. All fees are exclusive of all taxes, levies, or duties imposed by taxing authorities, and you shall be responsible for payment of all such taxes, levies, or duties, if you are using the service as a company.

  8. For any upgrade or downgrade in plan level, your credit card that you provided will automatically be charged the new rate on your next billing cycle.

  9. Downgrading your plan you will have access to all the content you have already paid for, following that the content which will be available to you starting next month/payment period would be according to your new plan.

  10. All the content you have paid for in previous months will be available to you as long as you are a registered member of Tangomeet.

  11. Disabling your account on Tangomeet using the DISABLE ACCOUNT button in your Settings means you will no longer have access to the content you have paid for. You can reactivate it at anytime simply by logging in with your login email and password.

  12. Deleting permanently your account on Tangomeet, will cause loss of all the content you have ever paid for. Tangomeet does not accept any liability for such loss. If you want to delete your account permanently, therefore not to be able to ever activate it again please, send us an email at contact at tangomeet dot com with the request of permanently deleting your account on Tangomeet.


Cancellation and Termination

  1. Though we’d much rather you stay, you can stop using our Services any time. You can cancel your account by clicking on the Settings link in the global navigation bar at the top of the screen and you’ll find in the Account Details section the option to disable your account on Tangomeet. You can reactivate it at anytime simply by logging in with your login email and password.

  2. Also, you can permanently delete your account on Tangomeet by sending us an email at contact at tangomeet dot com with the request of permanently deleting it. And you are solely responsible for properly canceling your account.

  3. All of the content you have paid for will be immediately deleted from your account upon permanent deletion. This information can not be recovered once your account is permanently deleted.

  4. If you cancel the Service before the end of your current paid up month, your cancellation will take effect immediately and you will not be charged again.

  5. Tangomeet, in its sole discretion, has the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Service, or any other Tangomeet service, for any reason at any time. For example, we may suspend or terminate your use if you are not complying with these Terms, or use the Services in any way that would cause us legal liability or disrupt others’ use of the Services. Such termination of the Service will result in the deactivation or deletion of your Account or your access to your Account, and the forfeiture and relinquishment of all content in your Account. Tangomeet reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.


Modifications to the Service and Prices

  1. Tangomeet reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice.

  2. Prices of all Services, including but not limited to monthly subscription plan fees to the Service, are subject to change upon 30 days notice from us. Such notice may be provided at any time by posting the changes to the Tangomeet Site (Tangomeet.com).

  3. Tangomeet shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.


Tangomeet Property and Feedback

These terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in the Services, Software, or the content in the Services. While we appreciate it when users send us feedback, please be aware that we may use any feedback, comments, or suggestions you send us or post in our website or social networks without any obligation to you. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use the Tangomeet trademarks, logos, domain names, or other brand features.


General Conditions

  1. You understand that Tangomeet uses third party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run the Service.

  2. You must not modify, adapt or hack the Service or modify another website so as to falsely imply that it is associated with Tangomeet services.

  3. You agree not to reproduce, download, share, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service without the express written permission by Tangomeet.

  4. Verbal, physical, written or other abuse (including threats of abuse or retribution) of any Tangomeet customer, employee, member, or officer will result in immediate account termination.

  5. You must not upload, post, host, or transmit unsolicited email or "spam" messages.

  6. You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.

  7. Tangomeet does not warrant that (i) the service will meet your specific requirements, (ii) the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, (iii) the results that may be obtained from the use of the service will be accurate, reliable, or granted without your implication (iv) the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you through the service will meet your expectations, and (v) any errors in the Service will be corrected.

  8. The Terms of Service constitutes the entire agreement between you and Tangomeet and govern your use of the Service, superseding any prior agreements between you and Tangomeet (including, but not limited to, any prior versions of the Terms of Service).
